We go again.....

Winter has very definitely kicked in. Very rarely above freezing these days, despite the best efforts of the sun in a cloudless sky. For me, that means fewer paid work days, but more time for film work. Over the course of this year I've set myself a target..... I want to have one of my films show at the cinema before I turn 50. Now, I'm aware that having a film shown on a cinema screen is relatively easy, but I mean I want one of my films 'on at the cinema'. For paying punters. And that doesn't give me long. 50 is on the horizon.

So, that being said, I wrote a script earlier in the year, a 'folk-horror' type of thing, designed to be easy to shoot, pretty to look at and hopefully with a broad appeal. Time will tell.

It's a cliché these days, but this year has been an emotional one to say the least. What it has done, however, is galvanised me into action, to get this film into being. I want you to come with me and enjoy (or scrutinise) the path that I take in the guise of Sierra Juliet Films. I will be posting thoughts, photos and all sorts on this blog so that by the time we are done, you may care about this film almost as much as I do. Who knows.
