Homestead

The filming day for "Homestead" has almost arrived and with very little fanfare but no less enthusiasm. A lot of the work has been completed well before time, but now I feel I am struggling with the details such as "what resolution should I shoot in" and how am I going to capture sound well? Sound was an issue last time, but now internet and power supply are added to that list. There is a scheduled power outage on the day of filming which is fine. However, that then brings into question how often the gimbal can be used and it means I am rejigging shots a little. I have borrowed some great sound equipment, but it is the lack of a stable recording device that is proving a bit of a headache thus far. However, on location, the house looks amazing and I will be walking through the shot list today to get a feel for the flow of the shoot day itself.
